"My work explores the connection between the artist and the model, the energy exchanged between the two. Fascia No.8

The Fas­cia Series started with this can­vas. I found it at Muse Art+Design. it’s 12″ x 24″. I taped it into thirds, paint­ing the hips from two dif­fer­ent mod­els at each end. The mid­dle sec­tion is bad­ger for a long term at Todd Leninger’s. It sat around the stu­dio until I met Dr. Zing­sheim and had her sit for me.

I planned my tap­ing to inter­sect in the mid­dle of the can­vas, push­ing the eye down, mir­ror­ing the hips. I flopped the image of Crys­tal, another mirror.
