Ephemeralia No.5 Oil on Masonite

From the Ephemer­alia Series. A early paint­ing from the Con­nec­tive Tis­sue Series. I had Rachel sit for me and then change direc­tion halfway through the pose. We would switch back and forth every five min­utes or so, pay­ing close atten­tion to inter­sec­tions an neg­a­tive space. It’s curi­ous how the fig­ure on the left became more masculine.
